Cub leaders

All of our leaders are trained volunteers, working to make sure Scouting is safe, inclusive and accessible. Some lead the Pack week in and week out. Others visit occasionally to help run a session or drop in to share their skills.

Cub’s Rules

In addition to our values (which can be found here), Cubs were asked to come up with their own set of rules that are important to them. Between them, they came up with a lot of ideas which we then helped them turn into 4 rules:

  • Listen to sixers, leaders, and each other. Don’t interrupt and always pay attention.
  • Treat others how you want to be treated, be kind, polite and show respect.
  • Be honest, encourage others, always take part, and keep going, even if it’s tough. No excuses!
  • Have fun and stay safe.

They also agreed on what a suitable consequence would be if they were to continue to break the rules.

  • Not following the rules may lead to time outs and/or removal from an activity.
